ITEM: New Japanese Medium Ezo Pumice for Cactus & Succulents, Bonsai Soil Mix and Bottom Drainage Layer
- Formed from volcanic sand, which gives it a hard, angular, and gritty structure as well as a slightly acidic pH.
- The hard nature of mineral sand means it doses not break down easily, making it durable in pots.
- Add akadama, kanuma, pumice, kiryu, often used for conifers, trees that hate wet roots.
- It can be used as a bottom drainage layer, since it holds almost no water on its own.
